Have a Heart for Haiti!

Every little bit counts!

On January 12th 2010 the country of Haiti was ravaged by a terrible earthquake. As of February 3rd over 200,000 people have been identified dead and 300,000 injured. Providing rescue, water, food and medical attention to those suffering is an ongoing challenge that can only be possible through the generous gift of others.


You can help! All through the month of February BBB is hosting “Have a Heart for Haiti,” a monetary collection to benefit Partners in Health. Partners in Health is a non-profit organization that has been helping the Haitian people since 1985 and has been a vital source of medical help after the earthquake.


Take a look at the walls of your hallway- they represent your color team. At the main desk four colored containers can be found. Place coins in your choice container to earn points for that team. Place paper bills in opposing teams containers to subtract points from them. At the end of the month the team with the most points will get a pizza party in the Beat Box.


If you donate a gift of one dollar or more you will receive a ‘Help for Haiti’ wristband. Let the person at the desk know before you donate so you can sign up and receive your wristband.
